Cotnari wine, awarded in Canadian competition

Cotnari wine succeeded to get silver in a a competition organized at the end of May, in Canada, with the participation of 600 producers from 32 countries, who presented 1,826 wine samples.

Catalin Grecu, marketing director of SC Cotnari SA, told AGERPRES that he presented these results, as well as the other obtained this year, to the business partners nationwide, on the occasion of the contract signing session 2009-2010.

'As many as 140 persons were present, representatives of all counties in the country. The meeting was run on a two-day period, we held negotiation rounds, the guests visited the winery, we also presented them the investments, and our partners were very impressed given that their last visit was paid to Cotnari three years ago. We also signed the distribution contracts', stated Catalin Grecu.
