Loan from UniCredit Tiriac, for a re-cycling factory in Buzau

UniCredit Tiriac Bank granted GreenWEEE International a loan worth 5.63 million euros, for the commissioning, in Buzau (north-east of Bucharest), of the biggest factory supplying integrated services of treatment of integrated services of waste and electric and electronic equipment in south-eastern Europe for waste of treatment and processing in conformity with the one and two million euros.

GreenWEEE is placed in the Buzau locality of Frasinu, with a total area of 10,795 m. The factory has a processing capacity of 50,000 tonnes of DEEE, every year, representing three times more than the quantity collected in Romania in Romania in 2008. The entire process of re-cycling respects the environment, by the correct treatment of waste, a process from which secondary raw materials result, which will enter again the economic circuit.

The opening of the factory, a first in the specific Romanian and regional market, was possible with support from UniCredit Tiriac Bank, that financed almost half of the investment necessary for the project, the rest in covered from own costs, said Marius Costache, general manager of Green WEEE International.

The involvement of the bank demonstrates a real concern for the protection of the environment and the wish to invest again in the economic circuit.
