Orange Romania cuts roaming tariffs as of June 15

Mobile telephony operator Orange Romania cuts tariffs for roaming, as of June 15, according to the new regulations imposed by the European Union.
The company's customers will pay 0.43 euros/minute for given calls, 0.19 euros/minute for received calls and 0.11 euros/minute for each message sent.
Orange is the market leader in Romania with a portfolio of almost 10.2 million customers, being part of France Telecom, one of the world's biggest communication companies with over 183.5 million customers on 5 continents.
In 2008, Orange Romania had revenues of 1.31 billion euros, that is arise by 6.2 p-percent compared to the revenues at the end of 2007. In Q1, 2009 the company reported revenues worth 264 million euros.
At present, Orange has a network of 102 own shops and about 1,000 partner shops nationwide.
