SIFs gain over 5 pct on upbeat market on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session on the rise, with listed shares gaining 2.81 pct in average, in an evolution tracked by the BET-C composite index.
The shares of the five financial investment companies (SIFs, the evolution of which is reflected by the BET-FI index) increased 5.33 pct in average.
Shares of 54 issuers changed hands on the main BVB market, the ‘Regular', 40 of which scored an appreciation in quotations, three kept flat and 11 declined.
BVB trades amounted to 4.983 million euros (RON 20.930 million), whilst trades carried out on the RASDAQ over-the-counter market stood at 1.751 million euros (RON 7.357 million).
The BET index that reflects the evolution of the most liquid ten listed issuers climbed 2.69 percentage, points whereas the ROTX index gained 2.80 pct.
The extended blue-chip index of the top liquid 25 companies - the BET-XT - went up 3.55 pct and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG advanced 2.73 pct.
The most liquid issuers were SIF Oltenia - RON 3.943 million; Transgaz - RON 3.145 million; SIF2 Moldova - RON 2.312 million; BRD - RON 1.471 million.
