Almost all Tiriac Imobiliare projects blocked

Tiriac Imobiliare, member of Tiriac Holding group, controlled by businessman Ion Tiriac, has blocked since the beginning of the year all the projects, except Residenz and the first two stages of Stejarii, which could be finalized during 2009-2010, according to Tiriac Imobiliare representatives, quoted by Mediafax.

Bjarne Virenfeldt, CEO Tiriac Imobiliare, declared yesterday that the projects were blocked in the context of the crisis and could be restarted upon the revival of the market, without giving however any deadline. According to the quoted source, the first two stages of Stejarii project could be finalized this year, respectively 2010, without offering an estimate regarding the third stage of the project.

Also, referring to the project Residenz, developed in the town of Chitila, together with the German developer LBBW Immobilien, Virenfeldt said that it will be finalized at the soonest.
