The world fossil fuel reserves are concentrated in relatively few countries. And this is the reason why the security of the energy sources become a key objective of all the European countries willing to diversify the energy dependence among several sorts of sources and suppliers, the release reads.
Deregulating the energy markets creates a new action framework for the Region's energy policies. On the competitive electricity markets, the selection of the technologies, the fuels and the fuel suppliers happen in private economic terms, within the limits of the governmental regulations. Fail the markets approaching appropriately the geo-political risks jeopardizing the energy reserves, it is imperious to support them through efficient political actions.Such policies should be justified based on thoroughly well conducted cost-benefit analyses and on the drop most of their negative effects on the deliberated market.
In the context, the agenda of the 5th Emerging Europe Energy Summit schedules debates on the most recent energy projects in Europe's emerging countries and about 18 delegations from over 20 countries governmental officials, officials of the big oil, natural gas and electricity companies, members of the world organizations and financial institutions, analysts, advisors, journalists, etc are expected to attend the summit.
