Romania's stock market surges up at rising bell, financial companies win 2.12%

Indexes on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) shot up after the day's initial transactions and the shares of financial companies (SIFs) rose by an average of 2.12 percent, as external markets score positively.
The BET index showing the evolution of the ten best companies listed on the bourse increased by 1.82 percent, to 3,438.16 points, while the composite BET-C index climbed by 1.61 percent, to 2,123.01 points.
The BET-FI index of the five SIFs advanced by 2.12 percent, to 16,290.86 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna upped 1.65 percent to 6,868.88.
The BET-XT of the 25 most liquid stocks grew 1.79 percent to 328.95 and the BET-NG index reflecting the evolution of the power market moved up by 2 percent, to 495.04 points.
The U.S. stocks opened on the green today, supported by a series of positive data concerning the economy. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose thus by 0.69 percent, to 8,555.60 points and the Nasdaq index decreased by 0.02 percent to 1,807.72 points. Standard & Poor's also won 0.84 percent, to 918.37 points.
