Aspects of economic crisis in Romania debated in Stuttgart

A press conference focusing financial-economic downturn in Romania is going to take place on Monday in Stuttgart, in the context Germany ranks 3rd, after Austria and the Netherlands, in terms of foreign investments in Romania, reads a release of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the conference titled 'Financial-Economic Crisis in Romania - Practical and Legal Consequences', specialists with experience in the Romanian-German economic and legal relationship will try to answer the following questions: 'Which fields of activity in Romania are affected by crisis?' and 'What chances bring the European Union's means of financing?'
Moreover, the solving of the legal aspects triggered by the economic crisis is very important, with specialist to debate on the following topics: 'How to recognize the threat represented by the incapacity of payment of business partners?', 'What legal instruments we have to react in such a context?', 'How can we reduce the costs?' and 'What fiscal measures are important during crisis time?'
Romania has recorded the fastest growth pace in the latest years among countries in Eastern Europe and German investors have brought a special contribution to this result, with Germany ranking 3rd, after Austria and the Netherlands, in terms of foreign investments in Romania.
Moreover, the trade relation between Romania and Germany have evolved in a very positive manner in the latest years, with Germany becoming the most important trade partner of Romania in terms of volume of trade exchanges, with more than 14 billion euros.
The world economic crisis affected Romania too, but with the country still remaining an attractive location for the investors, due to its development potential.
The Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Romanian German Jurist Association, L-Bank and the Honorific Consul of Romania for the Baden-Wurttemberg Land, organized the event from Stuttgart.
Participating in the conference there will be Minister of Economy of the Baden-Wurttemberg Land Ernst Pfister, Susanne Kastner, Vice-President of the German Parliament and the President of the German-Romanian Parliamentary Group and also of the German-Romanian Forum Gunther Krichbaum, the President for European Affairs with the German Parliament and the Romanian Ambassador to Germany Lazar Comanescu.
Moreover, the Romanian Minister for European Affairs Vasile Puscas is going to held a speech on 'European Community's Means of Financing for Romania - Chances for the German Businessmen.'
