Smart Park Project to be finalized in 2012

Smart Park Urban Assembly to be achieved by a group of investors including Immorent, Rompetrol Group (TRG) and Patriciu Family and whose investments amount to 300 million euros will be completed in 2012, businessman Dinu Patriciu said on Tuesday, when attending the ceremony marking 30 years since the first installation at Petromidia (south east of Bucharest) became operational.

The project will be finalized in 2012 although its initial deadline was 2010. At the moment the project started, the real estate market was witnessing boom times, but things have changed, now, Patriciu said.

Erste Bank is to fund the project.

Smart Park will be located in northern Bucharest, nearby the Baneasa Lake and the buildings will cover 150,000 square meters. The Assembly will include 50,000 sqm of A class offices and 100,000 sq m of high level commercial and dwelling spaces.
