Romania can become a renewable energy leader
Agerpres - 7 August 2009
Romania can become a renewable energy leader by producing out and creating combined green energy that prevents pollution, but it still fails using the incredible resources and exploiting the huge potential it avails of, said the president of the Mentor Group Consortium's subsidiary Mentor Group Energy Alon Peled.
Mentor Group Energy strives for being a key player in the green energy revolution to take place in Romania, before the financial crisis hits Romania.
Using its know-how and connections in important sectors such as the real estate and finances, Peled and its team started developing the concept through bringing the new technologies in our country.
The Company succeeded to get the support of several foreign investors and private funds for projects in the renewable energy field worth up to 100 million euros, throughout Romania.
'We can provide the locations, the structure, the financing and all the approvals a project needs in Romania, which has enough potential to become a successful one. In many cases we make our contribution as well, I mean money, and thus we become partners in the project, but this is no necessity for us,' Mentor Group Energy official stressed.
The Company launched a special environmental programme devoted to the municipality. The programme is supported by several important funds and banks.
