The BSE starts week posting massive drops, financial companies SIF plunge 3%

The index of the five financial companies known as SIF dipped 3.05 percent after the first transactions this morning, on a market standing in the red, after the international markets posted losses once again.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market fell 1.61 percent to 4,275.86 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies slipped 1.52 percent to 2,531.11.

The BET-FI index of the five SIFs plunged 3.05 percent to 21,697.53 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna lowered 1.78 percent to 9,049.04.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies plummeted 2.12 percent to 416.17 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market eased 0.48 percent to 546.99.
