First Kiabi store in Romania, opened in Bucharest

Kiabi, the French brand expert in the distribution of clothes in fashion and for small prices, for the entire family, opened on Wednesday, the first store in Romania, in Grand Arena Berceni commercial center, the company said in a press release.

With an experience of over 30 years in clothes retail, Kiabi continues its international development by the opening of this first store in Romania, a unit availing of an area of 1,700 sq m, of which 1,500 sq m is the selling area. The store makes it available for Romanians a rich offer of products for the entire family, with an excellent ratio between quality and price.

Kiabi Romania general manager Alain Simar estimates that the network will reach 30 working points in Romania, in the coming five years.

'In Bucharest, there soon follows the opening of the Kiabi Militari and Kiabi Titan stores. In the rest of the country, a priority is the development in the eastern area, in towns numbering more than 150,000 dwellers, on generous sale areas, of 1,200 sq m. In western Romania, there will also be development opportunities. The Kiabi chain in Romania will create over 500 jobs,' said Simar.

The Internet site of Kiabi for Romania will soon be available and will offer the service of buying on-line products, as of 2011.
