BVB: Trade in Gov't securities, up to 200 mln lei

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) reached a new record on Monday, with the highest transaction value of Government securities on BVB, respectively 196.7 million lei (some 46 million euros), according to a BVB release.

On Monday as well, some other records were attained on the state titles market at the level of a single trading session such as: the highest traded volume (18,079 state shares), the highest number of issues (symbols) traded on the state stock market (six issues of state shares), the highest number of transactions on the the state titles market (13 transactions).

Shares traded on Bucharest Stock Exchange appreciated on Monday by an average of 1.82 percent, as reflected by the evolution of the BET-C composite index, while the value of transactions attained a record of this year, amounting at 49.721 million eurs (213.005 million lei).

The value of transactions on BVB advanced significantly starting approximately a month ago, on Sept. 8, when the transfers amounted 22.497 million euros.
