Net profit of financial company SIF Banat-Crisana grows 28% in the first nine months, to lei 112.87m

SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1), one of the five investment funds known as SIF, hiked the net profit by 28 percent in the first nine months, to 112.87 million lei, while the revenues added 52 percent year-on-year, according to financial data sent to the local bourse.

It recorded an 87.8 million lei net profit in the first three quarters of 2008.

The company's total revenues rose from 112.35 million lei to 170.64 million lei from January to September, while the expenses boosted 122 percent to 51.39 million lei, from 23.10 million lei in the same period last year.

SIF Banat-Crisana reported net assets of 1.28 billion lei at the end of September, 3.17 percent up from the end of August.

The company has a share capital of 54.88 million lei, divided into 548.85 million shares, at a face value of 0.10 lei. It has a market value of 540.62 million lei, according to a 0.9850 lei per share quota settled today.

Shares of SIF Banat-Crisana are traded on the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) under the SIF1 symbol.
