Auction for T-bonds worth 400 million euros

The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) will draw on Friday on the domestic market an issue of 400 million Euros treasury bills, the second this year.

'On November 6 2009, the Public Finance Ministry will draw on the domestic capital market, put up for auction, a T-bonds issue with announced value worth 400 million Euros and a three-year maturity', a press release by the MFP reads.

In August, the MFP attracted from the domestic market around 447 million Euros through a T-bonds issue with four-year maturity, at an average yield of 5.25 percent, by over 147 million Euros over the initial scheduled value.

Before the Emil Boc Government was dismissed, the MFP had foreseen to draw in October from the external markets an Euro-bonds issue worth between 500 million Euros and 1.5 billion Euros, with a 5 to 10 years maturity.
