SIF Muntenia profit, 1.4-fold lower in nine months

Financial investment company Muntenia SA posted in the period Jan. 1 - Sept. 30, 2009 a net profit of 82.659 million lei, almost 1.4-fold lower than the one in the corresponding period of 2008, of 113.934 million lei, according to financial information sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Earnings dropped by more than 25 percent as against the first nine months of 2008, to 129.075 million lei and spending rose by 7 percent, to 45.78 million lei.
On Sept. 30, 2009 SIF 4 Muntenia had to collect due debts in the value of 92.189 million lei and to pay own debts of 123.653 million lei.
