Romania has two general consuls in Moldova, in Cahul and Balti

They are both career diplomats with a vast experience in the consular field. Gratiana Sebu is advisor on political affairs with Romania's Standing Delegation at the EU. She is an expert in Eastern Europe and Central Asia - Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and the Black Sea. Serbu also worked with the SECI center for the combat of cross-border crime. Nicador Titulescu was, until 2007, Romania's general consul to Toronto, Canada.
