Romania's budget on 2010 foresees 7% of the GDP for public investments, just like this year
NewsIn - 12 Noiembrie 2009
The budget on 2010 will include public investments worth 7 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), representing 20 percent of the public expenses, similar to the budget projection on 2009, said the interim Finance Minister, Gheorghe Pogea.
"We will keep the level of public investments and we will grant 7 percent of the GDP next year as well, meaning about 20 percent of the total expenses," said Pogea.
He also mentioned the government will soon send the fiscal responsibility bill to the Parliament, which is one of the structural reform conditions foreseen within the financing agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Union (EU).
The minister said the bill is almost ready, the government receiving "the last proposals and adjustments from the international experts."
