Bucharest Stock Exchange opens up in 2009 last session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened its trading session on an upward trend on Thursday, the last day of trading on 2009, with all the main indices showing an appreciation in the opening 60 minutes.
The BET-C composite index recorded an increase of 0.21 percent, while the BET-FI index of financial investment companies (SIFs) went up by 0.46 percent while the BET index of the 10 most liquid listed stock went up by 0.64 percent.
The ROTX index increased by 0.29 percent. The expanded blue-chip index BET-XT reflecting the 25 most liquid stocks increased by 0.56 percent, while the BET-NG index of the energy and utility companies went down 0.14 percent.
The BVB liquidity stood at 1.325 million euros, with stocks having been transferred on the RASDAQ market of the BVB worth 1.2 million euros in the opening 60 minutes. The most traded shares were the SIF1 Banat Crisana, Banca Transilvania, BRD and SIF5 Oltenia.
