The Bucharest Stock Exchange climbs 2% at day-end, on high transactions with banking shares

Indexes on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) closed session with a massive advance, although the increase tempered once new data on the U.S. unemployment were published, on a high liquidity, indicating that investors confirmed the new peaks.
Transactions amounted to 34.26 million lei, versus 12.13 million lei in the previous session.
The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market rose 1.59 percent to 5,078.03 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies soared 1.87 percent to 2,935.68.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF gained 0.75 percent to 25,335.99 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna grew 1.50 percent to 10,458.96.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies stepped up 1.45 percent to 497.97 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market added 1.26 percent to 634.77.
Shares of Romania's fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) were the most liquid on the market and idled at 2.30 lei. The second bank by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) jumped 3.57 percent to 14.50 lei.
SIF Oltenia (SIF5) inched 0.74 percent to 1.37 lei and SIF Moldova (SIF2) hiked 1.69 percent to 1.20 lei, while the country's largest oil company Petrom (SNP) won 3.33 percent to 0.2790 lei.
