The Bucharest Stock Exchange ends session with a 2.5% hike, indexes reach new peaks

Buying enthusiasm maintained on the Bucharest capital market at day-end, most of the indexes reporting new peaks, after the market advanced 2.5 percent, underpinned by the positive evolution of the European markets.
However, the liquidity lowered significantly from the previous session and totaled 21.34 million lei.
The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market rose 1.95 percent to 5,176.95 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies jumped 2.48 percent to 3,008.37.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF rallied 2.65 percent to 26,006.99 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna added 1.87 percent to 10,654.87.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies soared 2.37 percent to 509.79 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market won 2.97 percent to 653.63.
SIF Oltenia (SIF5) was the most traded stock on the market and closed session at 1.40 lei per share, after climbing 2.19 percent. SIF Moldova (SIF2) grew 1.67 percent to 1.22 lei.
On the banking sector, BRD SocGen (BRD) declined 0.69 percent to 14.40 lei, while Banca Transilvania (TLV) increased 2.17 percent to 2.35 lei.
Romania's largest oil company Petrom (SNP) boosted 3.94 percent to 0.29 lei.
