Global Training Consulting enters the Romanian market
Agerpres - 13 Ianuarie 2010
The British training company Global Training Consulting opened an office in Bucharest on January 5, to deliver courses and develop training programs for local executives.
'We are going to cover the whole range of training courses for middle and top management, both public and private. Taking into account the current market conditions, we intend to reach a turnover between 500.000 and 1 million euros by year-end', company representatives told Ziarul financiar daily.
The programmes offered to local executives will be carried out not only in Romania but also in the regional centres of the company in London or New York. Romania is the only country in Eastern Europe where the British training provider has opened a branch.
The domestic training market was estimated at nearly 30 million last year, down 20 percent from 2008. Among the major players on the local market were Human Invest, TMI Romania, Trend Consult, Achieve Global or Trainart.
