Mutual funds switch to European classification

According to a media release, mutual funds will switch beginning of 2010 to the European classification.
Among the changes implied, a shares fund needs to invest a min. of 85% in shares, compared with 66% the present ratio, in order to be called a shares fund. Monetary funds can no longer invest in bonds while bond funds can no longer invest in shares.
