Romania's GDP fell in 4Q 09

According to the National Statistics Institute (INSSE), the last quarter GDP has contracted by 1.5% qoq and 6.6% yoy.
Thus, the 2009 GDP contracted by 7.2%. The published figures came below market expectation, which was forecasting a small growth of forth quarter GDP (between 0.1-0.3% qoq). We expect a short-term negative market reaction.
