Romania's national currency ups to a reference exchange rate of 4.0981 lei/euro

The central bank BNR posted a reference exchange rate of 4.0981 lei per euro, 0.06 percent down from the previous session, after the national currency waved within a small range at debut, slightly below the 4.10 threshold.
For the U.S. dollar, BNR's reference level slipped 0.16 percent to 3.0163 lei per dollar.
BNR posted an average interbank bid rate (ROBID) of 2.96 percent a year and an interbank offer rate for overnight deposits (ROBOR) of 3.46 percent.
