Investors ask SIF Oltenia and SIF Banat-Crisana to double the dividends

A group of investors which own between them more than 5% of SIF Oltenia's (SIF5) share capital have demanded an increase of the dividend paid out of the 2009 net profit from RON 0.08 per share to RON 0.16 per share.
This implies a pay-out ratio of just below 50%. The shareholders will have the choice to vote during GSM between the management's proposal and the new one supported by this group of shareholders. According to local media, a group of investors is also asking SIF Banat-Crisana to hike its dividend from RON 0.05 per share to RON 0.1 per share, meaning a pay-out ratio of around 49%. We view these latest developments as positive.
