The Rompetrol Group increases stake in Rompetrol Rafinare

In a release SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) announced it sold its stake in Rompetrol Rafinare (RRC) to The Rompetrol Group (TRG). SIF1 sold some 41.9 mn RRC shares (0.2% of the share capital) at RON 0.0751 per share.
The transaction amounted to RON 3.15 mn. According to media sources, TRG increased its stake in RRC to 94% following several acquisitions from the open market and through the MPTO currently taking place (Feb 15 – Mar 26). Thus, TRG needs only another 1% to reach a stake of 95% and then it will be able to de-list the company.
