ING, Insurer of the Year

ING, through ING Life Insurance and ING Pension Fund received the Company of the Year Award at the 3rd edition of the Private Pension Market Awards Gala, organised by the PRIMM Magazine.

At the Gala, there were granted several awards to companies operating on the private pension market, for outstanding performance in a difficult year, which was marked by the global economic crisis.

'It is indeed remarkable the cohesion of this market before the public, the transparent and equilibrate manner in which companies presented themselves. Awards this year came to underline not so much the individual performance, measured by quantitative criteria, but the overall performance and these entities that succeeded to integrate in their activity all the essential components - financial performance, service quality and efficient communication, 'said Sergiu Costache, Chairman of Media XPRIMM.

The Excellence Award at this edition of the Gala, was given to Allianz-Tiriac Private Pensions.

The Generali Pension Fund received the prize for the best medium-sized fund.

There were also offered to special prizes for contribution to the development of the private pension market, to for the APAPR (Association for Privately Administered Pensions in Romania) and to the CSSPP (Private Pension System Supervision Commission).
