EUR 26.36 ml worth of government stock traded on Stock Exchange

A number of 18 trades were performed on Wednesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) with government stock worth a total of RON 107.99 million (EUR 26.36 million), taking the market liquidity to RON 128.01 million (EUR 31.25 million).
Listed shares dropped 0.42 pct in average, in an evolution tracked by the BET-C composite index, whereas the shares of the five financial investment companies (SIFs, the evolution of which is reflected by the BET-FI index) dropped 0.46 pct.
Shares of 58 issuers changed hands on the main BVB market, the 'Regular', 28 of which scored an appreciation in quotations, seven kept flat and 23 declined. The BET index that reflects the evolution of the most liquid ten listed issuers dipped 0.36 percentage points, whereas the ROTX index equally lost 0.36 pct.
The extended blue-chip index of the top liquid 25 companies - the BET-XT - fell 0.37 pct and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG slid 0.06 pct. The top liquid issuers were Dafora - with trades worth RON 2.93 million; SIF 5 Oltenia - RON 2.21 million; Transilvania Bank - RON 2.05 million; and SIF 2 Moldova - RON 1.82 million.
