Dacia, Renault-Nissan, Groupama Asigurari enter RCA and CASCO insurance partnership

Automobile Dacia SA, Renault-Nissan SRL and Groupama Asigurari have entered an insurance partnership under which payment acceptances will be issued in 48 hours at the latest of the submission of the insurance claims file, Groupama reports.

Groupama explains that the partnership is the outcome of a protocol on electronic data exchange between certified repairers of the three automobile makers and the insurer.

The partnership came into force this March and it covers both RCA mandatory civil liability insurance policies and CASO optional auto insurance policies.

The direct benefits of the Dacia, Renault and Nissan customers that will use the services of Groupama Asigurari includes reduced waiting times for claims file processing and shorter out-of-service times for repairs.

Officials of the three automobile companies say the cooperation may be extended to include all certified repairers of the Dacia-Renault-Nissan network that wants to enter similar partnerships.

Renault currently owns the most advanced service network in Romania nationwide, with 89 Dacia outlets, 49 Renault and 24 Nissan.

Established in a merger of Asiban and BT Asigurari and the integration of the OTP Garancia sales business, Groupama Asigurari has a network of more than 300 branches and outlets.

Groupama Asigurarai provides life, asset, civil liability, auto and agricultural insurance services both to individuals and corporations.
