Bucharest ranks 43rd in top of most expensive European cities

Bucharest ranks 43rd in the 2010 top of the most expensive European cities, the same position as in 2009, while at world level is ranks 71st, according to data sent by the British firm ECA International, who made the classifications.
ECA International compared the living standard of the largest 254 cities in the world. The criteria taken into account in elaborating the top included general climate, air quality, availability of goods, access to health care services, lodging, public services, infrastructure, social life, personal security and political conflicts. Bern and Copenhagen rank first, followed by Anvers, Brussels and Bale.
Baghdad remains the least active city, ranking last in the classification. According to ECA International Chisinau which ranks 186th is among European cities offering the worst living conditions.ECA International is an organization with 4000 members of 35 states, specialised in administering international mobility of labour force.
