Non-residents invest 13 million euro in BVB in March 2010

Non-residents' net inflows (the difference between stock buys and sales) on the Bucharest stock Exchange (BVB) stood at 13.2 million euros (RON 53.97 million) in March 2010, according to data released by the BVB.

Total March trade on the BVB conducted by non-residents reached 169.7 million euros.

Non-residents' investments in the stocks traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in March neared 45.3 million euros, with sales worth 32.1 million euros.

Non-resident individual investors bought stocks worth 2.76 million euros and sold stocks worth 5.21 million euros, both in March 2010, while non-resident juridical persons sold stocks worth 26.88 million euros and bought shares to the tune of 43.53 million euros.

In the same time interval, local investors bought shares worth 122.61 million euros and sold shares worth 133.16 million euros.
