Stock Exchange closed slightly high

Quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday depreciated by an average 0.53 percent, evolution measures by the BET-C composite index, while stocks of financial investment companies (the SIFs) climbed 0.84 percent (as measured by the BET-FI index).

On the main BVB Regular market, there were operated transactions with shares issued by 57 companies, 35 of which saw appreciations in the quotations, 4 stagnated and 18 dropped.

The total value of the BVB transactions reached 5.852 million euros (Ron 24.201 million lei), while on RASDAQ they reached 556,796 euros.

The BET index, indicating the evolution of the 10 most liquid stocks listed, recorded a growth in value by 0.61 percent, with the ROTX index climbing 1.01 percent. The blue-chip extended index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid companies climbed 0.40 percent, with the BET-NG index of companies in the energy and utilities sector having climbed 1.33 percent.

The most liquid stocks belonged to SIF5 Oltenia - transactions reaching up to Ron 3.383 million, Oil Terminal - Ron 2.742 million, Condmag - Ron 2.7 million, Petrom - Ron 1.945 million, Erste - 1.856 million.
