Romania’s per capita GDP will grow by 42% until 2015

Bulgaria will continue to be slightly behind Romania as concerns GDP with 12,066 dollars in 2010 and 16,444 in 2015, Hungary will preserve its considerable progress , the indicator continuing to grow to 18,730 dollars in 2010 and 24,888 in 2015. The classification of former communist states which joined EU after 2004 will not change, with Bulgaria and Romania ranking last, with Slovenia, Czech republic and Hungary on the first three positions. The average parity of the purchase power calculated by Mediafax at the level of 27 EU member states indicates a 20% increase over 2010-2015.

GDP per capita at current prices expressed in dollars will grow in Romania this year to 7902 dollars against 7542 dollars in 2009 and will go to 8777 dollars in 2011, 9941 in 2012, 112.091 in 2013, 12,367 in 2014 and 13,742 in 2015. In Bulgaria the indicator will grow from 6223 dollars in 2009 to 6721 in 2010, 9474 in 2015, registering a more reduced increase than Romania, according to IMF estimates. Hungary will register an important GDP advance per capita from 12926 dollars in 2009 to 14,598 in 2010 and 19,251 dollars in 2015.
