Over 600 companies to attend Construct Expo

Over 600 Romanian and foreign companies will attend over May 11 - 15 the most important exhibition events in Romania dedicated to constructions and installations, Sorin Vornic, Romexpo deputy manager has recently told a specialty conference.

'This year's attendance rate was by 35 percent lower than in 2009, but still at a comfortable level, if we consider the current economic situation worldwide. Moreover, the number of participants in the similar events organized in Barcelona dropped by 50 percent, by 60 percent in Bulgaria and by 20 percent in Budapest. At Construct Expo - Ambient, Antreprenor, Construct Expo Utilaje and Romtherm, on an exhibition surface covering more than 29,000 square meters, the degree of internationalization reaches 40 percent,' Sorin Vornic said.

The countries represented at Construct Expo are Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Switzerland, the Russian Federation, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Poland, the Czech republic, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Hungary.

The first edition of the show specialized in swimming pools and spa organized in Romania will take place on the occasion of Construct Expo Ambient. The show will bring together the most important producers and distributors of swimming pools, spa facilities and relating accessories and consumables.

The organizers bet on a number of 5,000 visitors per day, even the more so as the specialized exhibitions Expoflowers and Cer Glas will also take place in this period.
