Tarom adopts Flying Blue loyalty programme from Saturday

Tarom company adopts starting Saturday the Flying Blue loyalty programme, created and operated by SkyTeam members Air France and KLM airlines.
According to a press release of the national airline company, the main advantage of the Flying Blue programme is provided by the possibility of earning and spending miles on any SkyTeam airlines, with 24 partner airlines and over 90 Flying Blue partners. In total, the passengers of Tarom company will have access to a network of over 850 destinations in more than 160 countries.
The award miles earned by Flying Blue members are lifetime valid as long as the customers fly at least once every 20 months on a SkyTeam flight. Flying Blue programme rewards its loyal customers with flight awards to many destinations, flight upgrades, extra baggage awards, services from partners, round the world award tickets.
The Elite Levels of Flying Blue programme provide not only a variety of benefits, such as booking-dedicated phone lines, waiting list priority, business class check-in, priority at boarding and access in the airports' lounges, but also Elite bonuses, in kilometers, in addition to the award miles earned with Air France, KLM, Tarom, Air Europa, Kenya Airways and other SkyTeam member airlines.
Flying Blue is the loyalty programme created and operated by Air France and KLM and its main goal is to reach the top leader position of the loyalty programmes in Europe. At present, this programme numbers over 15 million members. Tarom wishes to implement Flying Blue programme in order to be able to provide its customers with exclusive benefits included in each of the three Flying Blue Elite levels, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
