The authorities in Russe will drop the bridge tax

The Russe subprefect Ivan Grigorov relaunched in Giurgiu an appeal to the minister of transport of Romania to drop the bridge tax, bridge linking Giurgiu to Russe, NewsIn says.
On a visit to Giurgiu, the subprefect of Russe Ivan Grigorov stated that by dropping the bridge tax the trade between the two countries would be supported.
« We appeal to the authorities of Romania as regards the elimination of diminution of the bridge tax. If the tax is dropped, the trade between the two countries will increase' Ivan Grigorov said.
In his turn, the public administrator of Giurgiu county, Ionel Muscalu stated that the Bulgarian government had requested the Romanian government the elimination of the bridge tax.
« The Bulgarian government required the Romanian government to eliminate the bridge tax. If they decided this thing, it is time we did something. There is no way we could have trade relations without the dropping of this tax' Muscalu said.
The Russe subprefect Ivan Grigorov participated on Thursday in Giurgiu to a meeting of the local group of agriculture representatives in the Giurgiu county and the Russe district, set up one month ago.
The group, made up of representatives of the local authorities, business people and specialists in agriculture and food processing in Giurgiu and Russe visited the headquarters of two companies belonging to the domestic producers of dairy products, and a ostriches farm near Rasuceni.
The visit was aimed at establishing contacts with a view to future collaboration between the producers in Giurgiu and the ones in Russe.
