BNR: non-governmental credit's nominal value rises 1.4 pct

The nongovernmental credit's nominal value went up by 1.4 percent (1.2 percent the real value), in May 2010, compared to April 2010, amounting to 203.11 billion lei, Romania's Central Bank (BNR) informs on Thursday.
The credit in lei fell by 0.1 percent (-0.3 percent, in real value), while that in hard currency credit expressed in lei grew by 2.4 percent (expressed in euros, the hard currency loans rose by 1.1 percent).The non-governmental credit grew by 2.0 percent (-2.3 percent - in real terms), on May 31, 2010, than that of May 31, 2009, because of the increase by 6.7 percent of the hard-currency compound expressed in lei (expressed in euro, the hard currency loan went up by 6.7 percent) and because the 4.7 percent drop of the compound expressed in lei, namely - 8.7 percent, in real terms).
