One more step towards short sales on the local stock exchange

The local securities commission (CNVM) approved the changes to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) code that allow short-sales for the companies included in BET index and the SIFs.
The final step in the process is the validation of the changes in the Code of the Central Depositary. So far we do not have details regarding the timeline of the process.
