Romanian Automobile Dacia to Launch Own Car Insurance Services

Romanian carmaker Automobile Dacia will launch its own auto insurance product this fall, through a partnership between the Renault Group's financial services company, Renault Credit International Banque, and Dacia dealers, people close to the matter told Mediafax.
'Once the project is complete, dealers will be able to sell car insurance,' said the cited source.For the project to begin, all of Dacia's distributors needed to add two new operations to their listed fields of activity: 'insurance and damage risk evaluation activities' and 'insurance agent and broker activities.'Automobile Dacia currently is in an association with insurance companies Omniasig and Asirom.Renault Credit International Banque operates in Romania through the companies RCI Leasing Romania IFN, RCI Finantare Romania and RCI Broker de Asigurare.
