Investors’ confidence in business in Romania deteriorated in last three months

The investors' confidence in the Romanian business environment worsened significantly this summer, after three quarters of positive evolution, while the business climate improved in the area, with significantly better situations in Russia and Ukraine.
In Romania, the new harsh measures will push the country to a new economic direction this year, while the investors' opinion about the business environment deteriorated for the first time this year, Reuters writes.
The index of investors' confidence in economy dropped in Romania to 11 in July from 18 in April, according to an opinion poll made every three months by Reuters and OeKB Austria.At Central and East European level the index went up from 21 to 23 in the same period, most improvements being registered in Ukraine (from -11 to 10) and Russia from 25 to 35).
Poland, the only European state from EU which did not get into recession in 2009 continues to be well seen by respondents of the Reuters-OeKB opinion poll.Bulgaria has also registered a deterioration of the investors' confidence in the last three months, similar to that of Romania, starting from a weaker initial base.
