Romania ranks 39th in Newsweek top of world's best 100 countries

Romania ranks the 39th, immediately behind Bulgaria, in the Newsweek magazine's rankings comparing the living standards in one hundred countries of the world.
Thus, in the Newsweek's list of the world's best countries, Romania comes the 39th, after Bulgaria (38th), as well as behind other Central and Eastern European states such as Slovenia (24th), the Czech Republic (25th), Croatia (28th), Slovenia (31st), Estonia (32nd), Hungary (33rd), Lithuania (34th) or Latvia (36th).
The Newsweek ranked the nations by education, health, quality of life, economic dynamism and political environment.
Romania scored 68.99 points, in all. In education, our country ranked the 49th, with 81.21 points, the 50th in the health category, with 73.44 points, the 38th in terms of the quality of life, by 72.76 points, while the economic dynamism took Romania to the 56th place, with 43.63 points, and the political environment brought it to the 36th position with 73.90 points.In this top the United States rank the 11th, Russia the 51st, and China the 59th.
