Carrefour opens 23rd hypermarket in Southwestern Romania

Carrefour opens on Wednesday the 23rd hypermarket in Romania, in Severin Shopping Center, Drobeta Turnu-Severin, Mehedinti County (south-west of Bucharest).
This is the first hypermarket opening in 2010, after six Carrfour Markets having been already launched so far. The hypermarket in Severin Shopping Center has a sales floor of 7,100 square meters, 25 cash registers and 1,000 free parking places.
The new hypermarket, which numbers 250 new work places, is to display a large range of 50,000 products.
Drobeta Turnu Severin Carrefour hypermarket will offer its clients extended opening hours, from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily, promotions each day of the year, as well as various events and amusements.
On the occasion of the opening, Carrefour prepared for its clients a a super raffle that will give participants a chance to win some household appliances or the Great prize - a Dacia Logan car.
In the first day, Carrefour Drobeta will offer to all the people who celebrate their birthday on August 25 a surprise gift. Moreover, Carrefour offers 30,000 promotional gifts, as well as 15,000 Carrefour caps.
