Incomes at 32% of GDP in Romania and 40% of GDP in Bulgaria

Finance minister Gheorghe Ialomiteanu declared on Tuesday at the Labor Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, that in Romania incomes are still 32% of GDP while in Bulgaria they are close to 40% of GDP.
Ialomiteanu said that in Romania the GDP percentage concerning budget incomes is reduced and showed that fiscal evasion should be reduced.
'I can say that Romania remained at 32%incomes of GDP, while Bulgaria is close to 40%. We must consider how to reduce fiscal evasion, The percentage concerning GDP incomes is low,' he added.
He mentioned that while answering questions made by deputies in the Labor Commission, who showed that the non fiscal economy has reached 30-35%.
The finance minister also showed that the party he represented backs the single tax share.
Concerning social expenses, Ialomiteanu says we cannot say that pensions in Romania are high, but he appreciates the way of granting social aid, especially at local level was not done by observing the law.
'Here we have a problem. Following controls made by the Labor Ministry they found there were persons who had not declared incomes and received aid. We must consider a way of seeing who should receive social aid,' Ialomiteanu added.He also said Romania should be at another level of incomes from excises, showing that Romania has for excises a low amount compared to other states.
