Over EUR 195 mn funds to be reallocated to SMEs

EU funds higher than 195 million euros will be reallocated to the Small and Medium Sized Entreprises (SMEs), whereas 100 million euros will go to the renewable energy resources, money coming from energy efficient and interconnection operations, informs the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment (MECMA).
The Monitoring Committee of the Economic Competitiveness Growth Operational Sectoral Programme okayed the reallocation proposals part in the priority axes such as 'An Innovative and Eco-Efficient Productive System,' 'Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RTDI) in support of Competitiveness' and 'Growth of Energy Efficiency and Safe Supply in the Context of Combating Climate Changes.'
Thus, the Programme's first priority axis stipulates that 292.6 million euros (195.07 million euros) is reallocated to the investments in the SEMs, whereas the investments in the big companies amount to 97.53 million euros. The money comes from operations such as Standardization, Competitiveness Poles, Consultancy, Clusters and Supply Chains.
In the second priority axis it was approved the reallocation of 35 million euros to the development of the existing research-development infrastructures, and for building new ones. The funds come from projects on the partnership research, the development of the infrastructure in the research-development of the companies and the promotion of the innovation within companies and enterprises.
