Azomures 3Q 2010 results

The turnover reached RON 333.4 mn, up 68% yoy. At the same time, raw materials and utilities costs rose by 11% and 14% respectively to RON 150.8 mn and RON 23.5 mn. Labor expenses climbed 22% yoy to RON 21.7 mn and third parties expenses surged in line with sales (70% yoy) to RON 45.5 mn. The operating profit stood at RON 43 mn, compared with a loss of RON 9.8 mn in 3Q 2009. The company recorded financial losses of RON 21 mn due to USD depreciation over the quarter and the net profit came in at RON 20.6 mn, against a net loss of RON 10.6 mn over the same period last year.

Over 1-3Q 2010, the turnover reached RON 874.4 mn, up 66% yoy and the net profit stood at RON 89 mn, 15x higher yoy.
