Stock market opens lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened lower Monday's trading session, with the BET-C general index having dropped 0.28 percent in the 20 opening minutes.

The BET-FI index of the SIF financial investment companies' stocks fell 0.16 percent, while the BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks dropped 0.44 percent and the ROTX index went down 0.72 percent.

The extended blue chip index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid stocks declined 0.27 percent, and the BET-NG energy sector and public utilities index declined 0.50 percent.

The BVB liquidity stood at 46,661.11 euros, and on the RASDAQ OTC ring of the BVB shares worth 148,222.92 euros were traded in the first 20 opening minutes.

The most liquid stocks were SIF5 Oltenia, SIF2 Moldova, BRD, Electroarges and OMV Petrom.
