Sibiu Stock Exchange's derivative market makes optimistic debut

The Monetary Financial and Commodities Exchange of Sibiu (BMFMS) shows rises during its opening half an hour, on the most liquid derivatives in 2010, namely for the stocks of SIF 5 Oltenia and the Dow Jones Industrial Average respectively, BMFMS release informs.
The Romanian currency (leu) also makes an auspicious start, the participating derivative markets expecting the Romanian currency to go up vs. the euro, the same release reads.
The first session had a good start for the liquidities, too, scoring almost 500 accords worth about two million lei.
DESIF 5 kept its position of the favourite instrument of the bidders that initiated strategies for all the available deadlines, and reaching over 300 agreements in the opening 30 minutes.
DESIF 5 wins 1.72 percent on the most liquid deadline, March 2011, continuing the trend it registered during the last session in 2010, when the SIF 5 derivative was witnessing considerable rises related to the support market.
The beginning of the year also brought rises for DEDJIA-RON, the March 2011 quotas growing by 65 points, in the opening half-hour.
The leu appreciated 0.17 percent for Mach 2011, and 0.23 percent for June 2011. Likewise, the gold goes up 11.3 USD for the Feb 2011 deadline.
