Stock exchange investments bring highest average yield in 2010

The investments in the most liquid shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recorded an average yield worth 12.32 percent, in 2010, given by the BET index that reflects the evolution of the most liquid ten listed issuers.
The investments in the mutual funds also scored a positive average yield worth 9.25 percent, over the analyzed time span (IFM index).Those having kept their savings in USD, over 2010, have currently scored a growth of 9.9 percent, while those whose savings were in euros saw an appreciation of 1.37 percent vs. the Romanian currency exchange rate.
The investors, which put their money in the RASDAQ over-the-counter market registered a negative average yield of 24.98 percent (the RASDAQ -C index), over the past twelve months.
The analyzed year-on year inflation rate stood at 7.77 percent.
