This program involves the development of 500 farms with a surface of plant crops ranging between 500-1,500 hectares, providing integrated solutions - seeds, tools and agricultural equipment from the U.S., as well as technical, financial and sales support on a five-year period.
'These participations in agriculture fairs and exhibitions in the U.S. strengthen the Romanian-American bilateral relations, leading to a strategic integrated vision in the field of agriculture and thus contribute to the development in Romania of the American model of large grain farms. Worth to be noted is another significant aspect, namely the attraction of U.S. funding sources for the Romanian agriculture, for the financing of investments in technology and equipment, which would mean the adoption of some coherent and sustained export policies in international grain trade ', said Otilia Manta, president of the Romanian Group for Investments and Consulting.
